Is the Game Hard to Learn?
As a beginner, you might wonder if it’s hard to play. Although it can seem overwhelming, the game literally takes 5 minutes to learn.

Player Rules
As a player, you can play your cards in one of the two ways; either the player can take chances as blind or as seen.
Blind Player: When you play as blind, the cards are all placed down. You only get to put forth half the chips in the placed bet. So, if you had set a stake of 100 chips in the first place, you would put in 50.
Seen Player: If you choose to play while looking at your cards, your challenge is to give in all the chips you placed at first.
Note that the preferred number of players should be 3 to 7.
Card Ranks
Your first task is to get to know everything about the cards. In Teen Patti, the cards are ranked from high to low. The lowest card in the ranking is the one marked as ‘2’. The top-ranked card in the deck is the Ace.
Trail/Trio: When you have three cards with the same rank, you are called to have a trio hand rank. All three cards have to be either an Ace or a ‘2’. So naturally, if you get three Aces, you have the highest hand. On the contrary, when you have three 2s, you have the lowest.
Pure Sequence or Straight Flush: These are the cards with consecutive numbers but of the same colour. Let’s take the sequence 8, 9, and 10, as an example. Another set that falls under this category is the set of Ace, King, and Queen. Between these two sets, remember that the former is higher in rank.
Colour: Naturally, in this set, all the cards come in the same colour. If both players have the same coloured array, the player with the highest number will win.
Pair: When both players have the same number in pairs, the third card determines the winner with its higher grade.
High Card: When you have neither of the patterns or the sets as mentioned above, any of the other cards will be your high card.
Game Over
If every player except one decides to fold, the game is over. Until then, players have to keep betting chips. A ‘show’ can only happen when every player except two has folded in their cards. Once the two players show their cards, the one with a higher hand wins. If hands are equal then the player asking for the show loses.
